Fareham Shopping Centre is inviting families to embark on a tropical adventure on Saturday 5 September, as Delme Square is transformed for a day of island-inspired fun and entertainment.
Between 11am and 3pm, visitors can enjoy a free family event packed with interactive activities, live entertainment and the chance to meet an Island Wayfinder Princess. The special guest will be making appearances throughout the day, with live performances and photo opportunities taking place at 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm.
Young adventurers will have the opportunity to create their own ocean-themed keepsake to take home and take part in the exciting Wayfinders Trail around the centre. Six participating retailers will each be hiding a themed item in their shop window. Once children have found all six hidden items, they can complete their entry form and post it into the competition box for a chance to win a summer hamper.
“We are delighted to bring another exciting family event to Fareham Shopping Centre,” said Centre Manager Mike Taylor. “This island adventure promises a fun-filled day of creativity, exploration and entertainment for visitors of all ages. We’re looking forward to welcoming families to Delme Square for a memorable end-of-summer celebration.”
Councillor Frair Burgess, Executive Member for Leisure and Community at Fareham Borough Council, added: “Fareham Shopping Centre is such a great place for families throughout the summer months as there are always so many activities on offer and lots to see and do. This free island adventure themed event is the perfect way to round off the summer’s fun. “
The event is free to attend and no booking is required. Families are encouraged to arrive early to make the most of the activities and live performances throughout the day.
