This workshop will combine the therapeutic benefits of exploring watercolours and mandala creation.
Through the repetitive, rhythmic nature of layering watercolours and adding mindful marks, you’ll find yourself naturally entering a state of calm focus where the journey matters more than the destination.
Perfect for complete beginners and those who have previously attended Mind Unwind workshops.
£39
What You’ll Explore:
Through gentle, repetitive mark-making and doodling with a choice of pens, you’ll embellish your layers with patterns that complement your watercolour patterns.
The beauty of this practice lies in its meditative quality – the gentle rhythm of brush strokes, the patience of waiting for layers to dry, the satisfaction of watching a piece come together. There’s no “right” outcome, only the peaceful pleasure of being present with colour, water, and pattern.
Creating mandalas helps reduce stress & boost focus by:
✅ Encouraging mindfulness
✅ Releasing tension through repetition
✅ Enhancing focus and patience
✅ Stimulating creativity
✅ Creating a meditative state
If you’re someone who doubts their own artistic ability, it doesn’t matter! Let go of being results driven – instead just have a go and feel the benefits in the process of creating. Although, I’m sure you will be pleasantly surprised by the outcomes too!
I have over 20 years of teaching experience and will break down the steps into achievable stages.
All materials and refreshments provided.
