Having first performed at Ferneham Hall at just three years old, local theatre-maker Anna Jane Reynolds is bringing a new production back to Fareham, performing at Fareham Live on 17 October.

‘The Investment of a Lifetime’ is presented by Noted Productions, a newly formed company created by Anna and fellow graduate Taylor Roark, whom she met while studying at East 15 Acting School. The play marks the company’s debut production and was originally developed during their time at drama school. Keen to share their work with the communities that helped shape them, the team has embarked on a small-scale tour, taking the show to venues in London, Fareham and Bracknell, where Taylor grew up.

The decision to perform in Fareham holds particular significance for Anna, whose early experiences in the town’s theatre community inspired a career in the arts. After making her stage debut in a dance school showcase at Ferneham Hall, she became involved with Fareham Musical Society at the age of eight, performing in adult productions and joining the original cast of the society’s youth theatre. Fareham Musical Society played a pivotal role in her development, providing opportunities to perform, form lasting friendships and build confidence throughout her childhood and teenage years.

Today, Noted Productions continues to work with the original cast of five graduates who first helped bring the play to life. The cast are volunteering their time to support the tour and are looking forward to performing in Fareham for the first time.

By bringing the production back to Fareham Live in her hometown, Anna hopes to celebrate the community that nurtured her talent and help bring more fringe theatre to regional audiences, where opportunities to experience touring productions can often be limited.
