Come along to Fareham’s Festive Thursdays

On Thursday 11 December and Thursday 18 December, Fareham Shopping Centre will be open for late-night shopping until 8pm as part of ‘Fareham’s Festive Thursdays’ events.

Fareham’s Festive Thursdays will include late-night store openings with many of the shopping centre shops staying open until 8pm. There will also be a host of additional attractions such as free children’s entertainment, walkabout performers, musical acts, a festive pop-up market, food and drink and much more. You can also park for free at all of Fareham’s town centre car parks from 5pm.

Here’s what’s on offer!

Festive pop-up market

In the heart of the shopping centre, the former Game unit will be transformed into a festive pop-up market. Newly renamed ‘The Courtyard’, this market will be open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 27 November until 20 December for all your Christmas shopping needs. Opening times are 10am until 5.30pm, and from 10am until 8pm on ‘Fareham’s Festive Thursdays’ on the 11 and 18 December. You’ll find a range of stalls offering stocking fillers, crafts, food and gifts.

Yummy food!

Satisfy your sweet tooth with hot crumble, donuts, hot choc and cold drinks, provided by NM Catering at the Winter Garden on both evenings, situated between the shopping centre and Fareham Live.

On 11 November, there will also be a pop-up bar supplied by The Drunken Barman.

On 18 November, The Hungry Hog is coming along to provide burgers, hot dogs, loaded fries and a bar for all you hungry shoppers.

FREE children’s activities!

Between 5.30pm and 8pm, your little ones can enjoy festive storytelling with Mrs G or be amazed by our magician, have glitter tattoos or their face painted for free, or take part in an Elf Workshop at Santa’s Grotto. Also Wonder will be running their Christmas themed roleplay sessions – it is a trip to the North Pole!

There will also be ping pong, mini golf and shuffleboard at the Ping Pong Parlour, free to use throughout the festive period and into the new year during shopping centre opening hours.
