Situated on the west side of the borough, Portchester town is filled with stunning scenic views, thriving local community and rich history. The most notable being Portchester Castle, believed to have been built in the late 11th century, that stands today as a memory of the important role Portchester played as a port in the medieval period.
Alongside its heritage, Portchester offers a town centre filled with local shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants – making it the perfect location for a lovely walk, followed by a bit of shopping!
