Easter eggstravaganza!

There’s so much to do on our patch this Easter, from egg hunts and decorating workshops to circus camps and tea parties.

We’ve rounded up some of the best entertainment for you and your little Easter bunnies to hunt out over the holidays.

Have fun, everyone!

It’s all about the eggs at Fareham Shopping Centre…

On Saturday, April 16, where there will be an Easter egg hunt and egg decorating workshop in Osborn Square from 11am until 3pm.

For Greatest Showman fans…

Luna Aerial is offering Easter Holiday Circus Camps for children aged seven and over. The two three-day camps will teach children the aerial hoop, trapeze, silks, and more circus skills.

Camps cost £120 for the full three days, or £40 for each individual day, and run from April 12-14, and April 19-21.

Looking for a day of play?

Parents and children who love Sweet Pea’s Play Café on Fareham’s West Street can join the Easter party on April 9, with crafts, sweetie bags, games, face painting and Easter-themed food.

It costs £15 a ticket, and £12 for siblings. Sweet Pea’s has miniature playrooms including a doctor’s surgery and a construction site. You can find out more about them on our blog – just click here to see more!

If you’re looking to let it go…

Head to the Frozen-themed tea party at family and dog-friendly Rendezvous Cafe Bar on the green in Stubbington – from 2pm-5pm on April 13.

There will be an afternoon of fun activities with music, unlimited children’s food and juice for £7.95 per child and free entry for adults.

For budding florists…

Learn how to make a beautiful May Day Maypole floral arrangement for the Easter table at an evening workshop at Driftwood and Daisy’s in Stubbington on April 28.

The £40 workshop from 7pm to 9pm is suitable for complete beginners or these looking for a skills refresher.

For lovers of pub quizzes…

Try out Portcullis Taphouse in Portchester on April 12. The family-run craft beer bar asks for just a £1 entry fee for the monthly quiz, with all proceeds going to The Rowans Hospice.

Offering more than 60 types of beer and cider, as well as wines, spirits and cocktails, the taphouse also holds board games nights, vinyl nights every Wednesday, and there’s a free cheese board every Sunday afternoon!
