Make waves and be part of history

Local people and businesses are being given the chance to become a part of the history of the exciting new community, arts and entertainment venue, Fareham Live.

A bespoke piece of wall art will take centre stage in the foyer of the new venue. A sculpture made up of coloured bars, each engraved with the name of a sponsor, will form a sculpture of a sound wave representing the audio and visual spectacle that Fareham Live will provide to the local community.
Now 40 individuals and 30 businesses can sponsor their own small piece of this unique artwork.

There are five sponsorship options available.

Corporate packages:

10 x Platinum – £1,500

10 x Gold – £1,000

10 x Silver – £750

Personal packages:

20 x Diamond – £250

20 x Gold – £150

As well as the chance to create a legacy and become one of the founding supporters of the venue, sponsors will also receive a range of additional benefits thanks to Fareham Borough Council and Fareham Live’s new operator, Trafalgar Theatres.

Executive Member for Leisure and Community, Councillor Sue Walker said: “This is a really exciting opportunity for individuals and businesses to be one of the founding sponsors of our new theatre and entertainment venue.

“Our Wave of Thanks artwork will be a lasting legacy for theatre lovers, active members of our community and local businesses and I am delighted to announce the launch of this scheme.

“I am proud to say I have already purchased the first bar and, with only 40 packages available to the public, and 30 to businesses, I encourage you to act quickly to avoid disappointment.”

Members of the public can buy their sponsored bar by visiting www.fareham.gov.uk/waveofthanks, filling in a simple form, and making an online payment. Payments can also be made by calling 01329 236100, or by visiting the reception desk at the Civic Offices in Fareham.

Businesses should express their interest by emailing publicity@fareham.gov.uk and an invoice will be sent for payment.
