08 Feb Fareham needs your views!
We need your views on more family fun
Fareham Borough Council wants to hear your views on how we might be able to make our leisure and play facilities even better – to appeal to all generations, but especially parents and their children and younger people. We’re asking you for any views, but especially one big idea for change!
How do you think we can make our town centre even more family friendly and what kinds of play and leisure facilities you might like us to look into?
Take a look at this video – it has some ideas that might help to inspire. Ideas for our great outdoors – a lido, access to Fareham Quay for water sports or more nature trails. Also for inside too – maybe bowling, darts or snooker, or a board game café.
We are inviting ideas from everyone and are particularly keen to hear ideas from parents to help us make Fareham even more family friendly.
We’ve got some events planned for half term to make it easy for you and your children to take your part in our plans.
- Design your dream play. A colouring workshop for your little ones to design their dream play space. 10am-1pm on Saturday 10 February in Osborn Square, by the Softplay.
- Make Fareham Fun – a consultation. Take a look at some of ideas for fun facilities that we could have for our town centre. Sunday 11 to Wednesday 14 February in the Ping-Pong Parlour in the Shopping Centre.
To tell us your ideas, email consultations@fareham.gov.uk, go to the website or scan the QR code.
For maximum impact, it would be great if you could let us have your views by Wednesday 14 February – that said we will of course listen past that date!
