It’s wedding season at The Dovecote Eatery!

As the world returns to more normal times, the demand for parties and weddings has rocketed.  And the Dovecote Eatery on Cams Hall Estate, is no exception. It has been inundated with requests for its private function room, ‘The Nest’, as well as its   marquee outside (pictured) and has now set up a new events business called Nest & Anchor Events.

The team includes Tom Mountford and Dan Milsom from The Dovecote, who both have vast hospitality experience, alongside Helen Ruff – who has worked in the wedding industry for 13 years – and local wedding photographer Scott Morey.

The quirky, Grade II Listed, building now has a new heated marquee, making the venue a perfect spot for a relaxed, rustic wedding, with furniture and props on an industrial theme.

The surroundings are great for photos too, with the picturesque backdrop of Fareham Creek and the stunning Cams Hall estate right next door.

The marquee has a seated capacity of 70 (90 standing) and The Nest can accommodate up to 25. The bar comes fully stocked with carefully chosen drinks and craft beers, and menus for The Nest include afternoon teas and grazing platters alongside the more obvious selections.

Event requirements can be discussed on a bespoke basis and there are plenty of recommended local suppliers within their brochure.
