06 Nov Christmas lights switch on 18 November
Christmas lights switch on!
We’ve got a date for your diary! It’s the Christmas lights switch on!
Saturday 18th November 10am – 7pm on West Street, Fareham Town Centre
It’s FREE, family-friendly fun with face painting, fun fair rides, festive gift stalls, delicious food and drink and activities all day between 10am and 7pm.
There will be performers throughout the day, both on the main stage and entertaining the crowds along West Street.
Father Christmas will be to watch the lights being swiched on at 5.30pm by the winner of the Council’s summer colouring competition, supported by the Mayor of Fareham, Cllr Fred Birkett and Mayoress Lisa Birkett.
The festivities will finish in a flourish of gold, with the spectacular finale show.
There will be a small charge for the fun fair rides, but all other activities on the day will be free of charge. So pull on your Christmas jumpers and support #livelovelocalfareham
You can find our more about the day on the council website.
