The annual Fareham Art Exhibition and Craft Fair
Fareham Arts Group Spectacular will be holding its annual exhibition, at Titchfield Community Centre, on October 28th.
The annual exhibition is bigger and better this year, with a large range of craft stalls and even more paintings!
Come along and see original illustrations, portfolios and craft work created by local artists.
Alongside the exhibition and craft fair there will homemade cakes and refreshments – there’s even a grand raffle!
The Mayor will open the exhibition on the preview evening and a professional artist will be selecting a minimum of three talented exhibits to be awarded vouchers.
Each member can apply to display four hung pictures, six unframed paintings, five craft items and twenty greetings cards.
Fareham Art Group has a membership of about 150 artists and art lovers, ranging from experienced painters to novices who work across all kinds of media. They are constantly expanding and looking for local talent, so why not get involved!
The closing date for entries is September 30th.
Young Artists Competition
For the first time, Fareham Art Group will be holding a Young Artists Competition!
This is open to all children up to the age of 16, who are related to a Fareham Art Group Member.
