Hampshire Open Studios is back again, from the 19th – 28th August!
The event is an annual art trail, where the general public can meet artists in their studios and galleries. There are a wide variety of venues to see, along with every type of art and craft on offer in the region, including painting, ceramics, glass and jewellery.
Take in the beauty! You never know, you might even come home with some beautiful artwork.

A LITTLE TRINKET BY ANNA L TILLMAN

Visit the studio and see the lamp-working process, as Anna melts glass to create home accessories and sterling silver jewellery.

Discover a range of colourful, up-cycled jewellery and accessories. You can purchase something from her original collection – they make great affordable and sustainable gifts.

David will be displaying a wide variety of his art, focusing on subjects including local scenes, flowers seascapes and abstract. You can also purchase some cards.

Visit Deb C and Windsor’s home studio exhibiting unique, contemporary textile artworks and whimsical watercolours plus prints, cards. You can also buy ‘sew your own’ kits!

Hampshire Makers Collective will be exhibiting work around the theme of ‘An Upcycled Garden’. This will include artists, such as Blue Magpie Art, Copper Heart Glass, Andrew Foster, Caroline Shields, The Seaside Sew.There will also be tea, coffee and cake in support of Solent Mind.

Alongside her pastel and oil seascapes, Jennifer has developed a passion for getting messy with acrylics and painting large colourful abstracts.

John Cook will be displaying a selection of fine art sculpture and ceramic arts, including pottery.

Karen Townsend is an artist with a Saltwater Spirit who captures the mysteries of the sea and nature, exploring forms in clay and wood.
She will also be holding pyrography demonstrations throughout the week.
